Hey guys, i took on an ambitious task of upgrading our forums today, and I'm happy to say it seems to have gone swimmingly :) Well at least the little I've tested so far...let me know if u run into problems and i'll probably just ignore them and blame it on the software or bots or ectoplasma in the cpu or something...

Tuesday nite, at the Surf Club in Ortley Beach, Kelly Slater was in town on a whirlwind tour of the East Coast to debut his new movie Letting Go. The tinyest of loggers, Nicholas Farrell, won a signed surfboard from the 7x World Champion!!! Congrats, and please don't wax it up!!!

Local surfer gets up close with Mavericks- 2006-05-10
Dean Smith grew up surfing in Monmouth County and is now a Television Photographer for a NBC station in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has had the privilege over the last few years of shooting the Mavericks Surf Competition @ Pillar Point, just over the hill from his new home in San Mateo. The station that he works for (NBC11) is streaming some of this Video in advance of the May 13th showing of the contest by NBC Sports. Please have a look, he would like to generate as much traffic to his site as possible to show NBC that the surfing population out there has an interest in Watching Big Waves!!!
